Information Marketing: How To Create An Ascension Business Model

It is very easy to create an ascension model for an online information marketing business. In this article I am going to explain this model is and how you can easily and quickly build one.

What is an ascension model?

With this model you offer products beginning with a low price and then gradually ascending to a higher priced product.

There are advantages with this model.

As the product creator and in particular for those who are just starting out on their information business, it is far less daunting to think about creating a low priced item than a higher one.

For example, a $27 product sounds feasible, whereas a $490 product perhaps sounds beyond your capabilities.

By creating low price products first you can build your confidence and also begin to understand what it is you can offer and how much you have to offer.

For your customers, using this model helps them to purchase something of low price and therefore low risk to see what kind of quality you offer.

Obviously your lower priced products must reflect the quality and value that your customers would expect from a premium product. It doesn’t matter what the price is – the quality must be the same.

Credibility Tip

Make sure that as you create higher priced products you enable your customers to have visibility of them so that they don’t think you are only capable of producing low priced items. This is really important for your credibility and authority levels.

How to easily create an ascension model

One easy way to build this ascending model is to create 4 low priced products on various topics in your niche and then combine them together to produce the high priced product. Another way to do this is to again use those low priced products and combine them into a weekly or bimonthly continuity product.

By using what you already have created and packaging it into a product of higher price you can quickly and easily increase your product portfolio and product price range.

The more low priced products you create, the more ways you will be able to repackage them into new products with varying price points.

Another easy way to create a high end product is to offer coaching and include your other products as training material to be used as part of the coaching program.

Send out a weekly training and then discuss this during the coaching element.

Productive Product Creation – 7 Key Steps to Excell at Product Creation

The competition in the world of business is on as rise. The companies which keep on producing new more innovative products have better chances of surviving than competition and remaining successful. This reason has increased the value and importance of the research and development department of any organization.

These steps will make product creation easier for you. New product creation is important. There is a sense of innovation attached with creation of new products, which helps companies in improving their market share. In this state of high competition it is important that you understand the importance of creating new products.

Product Creation – Why is Product Creation so Scary?

Product creation. The term itself sounds scary. And I guess rightly so. I have seen $47 ebooks with less information than in my free ebooks or my $9.77 version. So for some, product creation is a nightmare.

But product creation does not need to be scary or a nightmare. With the right guidance, product creation should be a breeze. Now, I certainly will not be able to give you everything you need to know about product creation in the next 300 words. But I do believe I can take the fear out of product creation.

Start here. Decide what you want to create. What is your niche market? Who is your customer? What product do they need more than anything else? What information do they need that no one else has systematically organized?

Once you know what information is needed, you can determine the medium of distribution. Is it conducive to writing a book? Or would it be easier to talk about it (create a CD)? Or is it something that needs to be shown hands-on (DVD or video)?

Follow these steps to product creation:

1) Create an outline of everything you need to share to give the customer all the information they need.

2) Divide your main topics into subtopics–for example if you created 10 topics in 1) above, then create 5 ideas for each topic. Now you have 50 ideas. These topics will be your chapters and the ideas will be sub chapters. If you are creating video or CD, the topics will be individual files or video clips and the ideas will be each of the items you cover in the CD, video, or DVD.

3) Begin to write or record. If you are writing a book, simply choose to write for one hour a day. Just write one idea at a time and do not become too concerned with how well the ideas flow together. If you are doing a CD, video, or DVD, you will need to make good notes first (it is best not to write the entire script out or it will sound stiff when you read it) and then take one hour a day to record. The first few hours of your recording will probably sound pretty bad. That is OK. Simply listen to it (or watch it) and make the necessary adjustments the next day.

4) Once you have all the parts written or recorded, edit and/or proofread them.

5) Create a nice package for your products, create a web page and sales page, and begin selling your new product creation.

Listen To Your Readers When It Comes To Content And Product Creation

The key to making a nice living as a content marketer and info product creator is figuring out what to write about and create. You need to capture your audience’s attention and come up with content and products that they want to consume. You need to figure out what you can do to help your audience, what problems you can solve for them, or how you can entertain them. Do that and you’ll do well with your online business for years to come.

Choosing the right topics though can be a bit hit and miss… until you figure out the secret. The secret to online marketing success is to listen to your readers, read between the lines, and then help them reach their goals. Your audience will actually tell you what they are looking for. They just don’t always spell it out for you. And that’s OK.

But let’s not put the cart before the horse. Before we can figure out what our potential customers need, we’ve got to get them talking. One of the best ways to do that is via email. Encourage your readers to hit reply and ask questions. Ask them to share their stories, their struggles, and what they want to accomplish. You’ll learn a lot about your target audience as you read through these replies and start one-on-one conversations with your readers.

It won’t take long before you start to see certain themes emerge. Whenever you notice the same question popping up again and again, you know you have a great topic for an epic blog post or a variety of different types of contents. Address it, answer your prospects questions and overcome their objections.

Pay particular attention to their problems and anything they seem to struggle with. Those are the topics and issues you want to create products around if you can. How can you help your customers overcome that issue? What service can you offer to make things easier and help them reach the next step towards their goal?

Pay attention to the emails you get from your subscribers and encourage your readers to email you in the first place. Treating email marketing as a one way form of communication is short-sighted and it can be a costly mistake. Take advantage of the two-way nature of this form of communication and engage with your subscribers. It will help you grow your business and serve your target market better.
